Ministers of the Word, or Lectors, assist at parish liturgies on Sunday and weekdays by proclaiming the first two readings during the Liturgy of the Word. In the absence of the Deacon, lectors are called to proclaim the intercessions of our parish during the Prayers of the Faithful.
